You woke up in 5 in the morning just to find that your stomach was starving. You're surroundings are still dark but you found the courage to go to the maid's room. You told her, "ate, luto ka na almusal" Then you went back to bed but never slept because you fear that you might not wake in time.
You are packing your things in this body bag. You forgot to pack it last night because you made some of your assignments in advance. But still there's some more.
Then, you find yourself fearing to be late. You arrived just on time just to see yourself in a crowd of familiar faces. They were all lined up. And you immediately fell in line with them. You could see their faces creased with anticipation.
Then the crowd begins to move. The crowd surges to the buses they were assigned to. Taking their seats with their friends. The bus is full of noisy chats of eager voices.
Then you arrive to the venue. A school in Dasma, Cavite. You went inside there gymnasium where a little disappointment gave in.
You sit and listen to the EmCees who seem to be talking to each other and not with the audience. You are growing bored. And with each passing time, with each droplet of sweat dripping from your temples, you grow impatient. To the extent that you are thinking that you shouldn't have gone to this event. You should've done your assignments. And have time to relax.
You even planned with your friends to leave the event and head to the mall. But your plans seem to fail.
Then you see this face which struck you. Her front hair was side-swept. She is about your height. Her skin was fair. Part of you wanted to ask her name and make friends with her but something holds you back.
You see her ID, it says her name, Ara. You seem to think that it's such a nice name.
Then, there was an event, which requires you to make at least ten people from the event to sign your ID. YFC ID. You even thought that this is your chance. You tried to find her but failed.
Now, you are dismayed. It seems destiny hinders your joy. You feel sweaty and ugly but you don't want to use the dirty CR. You pursued your teacher to go the McDo with some classmates. You changed to a black t-shirt and washed your face. You feel much better, lighter.
You wanted to stay longer but couldn't. You immediately went back to venue. Your skin starts to show some signs of perspiration. But you endured it.
You arrived finding that there was a sharing program about chosen people's lives. But you didn't listen coz your teacher at your back is joking and you listen to her instead. She even started to share her own lovelife...
It then ends when the EmCees tell you to move the chairs to the sides and all the people to gather at the center space. It was a rock concert. At first, you rock for God, but then YFC's started to wish for non-inspirational. And so they did. You rocked the house. You sang with the band with your voice to the highest. That you feel your throat become hoarse.
You are drenched wet with sweat. You didn't care. You enjoyed the day. And that's all that mattered. You are about to leave the place. And you saw her again. But never had the chance to ask her number. You were leaving.
You grew sad because you didn't achieve something you wanted so badly. You even told your friends how you were so mad at yourself for not approaching her the first time. You were "
torpe"

Did you understand it? It was a real experience there in the HS High by the YFC. I hope to see her again. And hopefully, find the courage to do ask her.
